NBGC Athletics Programs
The NBGC offers a wide range of activities year round. Not only do NBGC kids have fun and learn skills with our sports programs, we also strive to teach them important values. We stress good sportsmanship, conflict resolution, responsibility and teamwork. We require our players, parents, coaches and officials to treat each other respectfully. Our philosophy is “Everyone Plays”. This ensures that every child has the opportunity to play in every game – regardless of their skill level.

All NBGC-scheduled games and practices will take place at Revere Park – located at 2501 W. Irving Park Rd.
- Preseason Practices are scheduled to last for 45–50 minutes. Preseason Practices will begin with dynamic stretching followed by working on fundamental skills like throwing, catching, route-running, defense, and basic game knowledge as well as essential soccer techniques like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Games are scheduled to last 50-60 minutes
No, NBGC only schedules league preseason practices. Once the games start any additional practices throughout the season will be coach-scheduled team practices.
Each team will be scheduled for at least 10 games.
Forfeits will not be rescheduled. Please let NBGC staff know about upcoming forfeits so we can try to find a replacement team for your opponent.
NBGC’s spectator policy will adhere to the IDPH sports guidelines. Spectators must remain in the designated spectator area.
We play through most weather.
Financial Assistance
If you are currently receiving financial assistance, or have Action for Children, please follow the appropriate link below as summer and school year assistance are separate.

Requests for refunds can be made up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the program. All refund requests must be made in writing to Finance@nbgc.org. Any other forms of communication will not be considered. Refunds can be issued as a program credit for the full amount paid to be used for future programming within 1 year or as a cash refund minus a 15% service fee. A $25.00 fee applies to all order cancellations and to make any registration changes.
